Hourly Fee
Law Office of KG, PLLC's hourly rate is a reasonable fee that is charged for the time spent working on the case, plus all other expenses, such as: court costs, litigation expenses, and travel expenses.
Contingency Fee
Generally personal injury cases will be contracted on a contingency fee arrangement. This means that the client doesn't have to pay attorney fees, unless the attorney is able to get a recovery for the client. Court costs, litigation expenses, and medical bills are paid
from the client's share of the recovery. If there is no recovery, you will not be responsible for any court costs, litigation expenses, or attorney fees. Of course, the client will remain responsible for unpaid medical bills.
Flat Fee
Flat fees will be negotiated by an attorney, upon client request, at the initial consultation meeting. The flat rate negotiated will be based on the circumstances of the case. Generally, deceptive consumer practice cases will be contracted on a flat rate.
Value-Based (A La Carte) Fee
Under this cutting-edge fee system, the client is only charged for the value that is provided to the client. Any work that is performed that does not create legal value to the client's case, will not be billed to the client. The benefit to this fee arrangement is that, the client can estimate the approximate total cost of their case from the very beginning of their case, by choosing the services that they want. Upon request of the client, the fee sheet will be reviewed and discussed by an attorney at the initial consultation. Generally, value-based fees can be used for all cases, except personal injury cases. The following are MINIMUM service charges to be billed at the minimum rate of $300.00 per hour, or per the hourly fee in the client's contract, and shall apply to the DRAFTING of the following documents only:
